Delete Your Account In The App

Open joino and go to Profile > Edit profile > Delete account. Confirm the deletion in the app.

Request Deletion By Email

If you cannot access the app, email support@joino.at from the email address connected to your joino account and ask us to delete your account.

What To Include

Include the email address connected to your joino account and write that you want your joino account and associated personal data deleted. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before completing the request.

What Is Deleted

We remove or anonymize your profile details, delete stored profile and cover photos, clear saved events, RSVPs, invitations, follows, blocks, notifications, push tokens, location-lookup and rate-limit records, route-snap request records, user-submitted reports, appeal messages, and similar participation records, cancel future events hosted by the deleted account, delete the app authentication account, and record the deletion for operational follow-up. Apple-linked accounts require a fresh Apple confirmation so we can revoke Apple authorization.

For clubs, we remove your club memberships, staff roles, role invitations, ownership claims, authored posts, and post images. If you are the only owner of a club, ownership passes to another member of its team; if the club has no other team members, the club is archived. A club whose last owner deletes their account and that has no team members or members left also has its stored club logo, cover, and announcement images deleted.

What May Be Retained

Your comments, replies, and authored club posts are deleted. Past hosted event records may remain for other participants, but their title, description, meeting location, and route are removed. Shared club identity and audit history may remain for continuity and accountability. A processed deletion request remains as a minimal operational receipt. Limited moderation records may be retained for safety, abuse prevention, legal obligations, or service integrity; they are not ordinary public content.

Timing

In-app deletion begins immediately. Email requests are reviewed manually and handled as soon as reasonably possible after account ownership is confirmed.
